Catering

Receptions following funerals or memorial services range from simple coffee, punch and cookies for an hour at the funeral home or a light lunch of finger food for a stand up reception, to a full buffet meal with staff and beverages. We know this is a hard time for families – too many things to do in a short period of time and under emotional distress.

During this sad time, let us take the hassle of catering after the funeral out of your hands. Here at Anstey & District Funeral Services we have a room which is available to you and your family after the funeral, it is suitable for up to 60 people, and with our catering services we will look after your every need. The room has been designed to make you feel at home.

If you would like to have a look around our room, please do get in touch with us, and we’d be only too pleased to show you around, what has been described as one of the best facilities within the Leicestershire area.

We’ve chosen to partner with local company Bluebelle Catering as we know they work to the same high level of service and quality that we provide.

We have four menus available and all dietary requirements can be catered for. Included within the price of each menu is tea, coffee and cordials along with one of the Bluebelle Team to look after you.  You are welcome to bring in your own drinks and we can supply the necessary glassware for these.

We regularly get asked whether we hire out our room to families who don’t use us for the funeral service. Unfortunately, we are unable to assist with these requests and it is only available to those families who choose to use our services. Your appointed funeral director should be able to advise you of suitable venues.
